The President of the Alevas Consulting Group, Inc. was invited to participate in a leadership panel at New York University.  Ms. Alevas joined others from the private, public, governmental and union sectors in sharing best leadership practices with the University's students.

The Alevas Consulting Group, Inc. is privileged to receive 2006 honor-roll status by the Long Island Works Coalition for the Group's volunteer efforts during the 2005-06 academic year.  Ms. Cheryl Davidson, Long Island Works Coalition's executive director, commented, Alevas Consulting Group, Inc. is "among the elite business leaders across Nassau and Suffolk counties who join in our mission to ensure that today's students will have the skills and opportunities for successful futures."

         URGENT PLEA FOR HELP...Americans Called Upon to Assist Hurricane Katrina Victims (August  2005)

Federal, state and local officials are urging all Americans to help out the victims of Hurricane Katrina.  The official web site for the American Red Cross, which has set up a special "Donate Now" link for these victims, is  The magnitude of this natural catastrophe has also affected countless animals, and, therefore, the animal shelters in the affected areas are in dire need of financial assistance.  The official web site for the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, which is making a plea for donations large and small, is: http://www.aspca.orgThe Alevas Consulting Group, Inc. invites those individuals and organizations who are able to offer financial contributions to this massive relief effort to do so through reputable and recognized charitable entities of their choice.   The Group's president, Susan F.           Alevas Group Named to LI Works Coalition 2005 Workforce Builders Honor Roll (June 2005)

Ms. Cheryl Davidson, Long Island Works Coalition's executive director, recently announced that the Alevas Consulting Group, Inc. has been named to the 2005 Workforce Builders Honor Roll " recognition of [the Group's] commitment to developing career-related initiatives for students...."  The Long Island Works Coalition is a non-profit, regional initiative that fosters collaborations between schools and employers, preparing students with the knowledge, skills and practical experiences needed for career success.  In learning of this designation,  Susan F.           Group's President Tapped for Business Ethical Leadership (May 2005)

Molloy College's Center for Business Ethics has invited Susan F.           Alevas Consulting Group Prepares Students with Career Preparation  (April 2005)

In an ongoing commitment to community service, the Alevas Consulting Group's president donated her services to support an "Interviewing Skills and Résumé Preparation" program sponsored by Long Island Works Coalition at Comsewogue High School.  Ms. Alevas worked with students to assess their academic, extracurricular club and athletic pursuits and helped with their preparation to obtain summer employment to support their post-high school educational studies.

          Alevas Consulting Group Promotes Post-High School Education Initiative (April 2005)

Recognizing the tremendous career opportunities higher education provides, the Alevas Consulting Group's president recently participated in a Career Fair for 7th graders in the Sachem Central School District.  While introducing the students to the skills and education needed in the practice of law, Ms. Alevas challenged the district's young people to obtain college degrees, as well as pursue ongoing education beyond their degree conferment.  Emphasizing each individual's responsibility to improve world conditions, she also encouraged the students to identify ways to volunteer in their school and local community.

          Join the Southeast Asia Tsunami Relief Effort  (January 2005)
